Dust, tar, drywall, and a million dollar view
These past few weeks have been very busy at Sophie’s Arms!
We are in the midst of replacing the roof and reconstructing the parapet that had deteriorated and lost much of it’s luster. If all goes according to plan, this work should all be done withing the next two weeks. Here are a few pictures of the work in progress including the amazing view from the roof.

Work continues on the 3rd and 4th floor finishing units 303, 305, and 306. Unit 307 is complete and rent ready apart from final cleaning and walk through. Things are coming together, slowly but surely.

I am very excited to announce that work on the entry hallway shall commence on the 26th of July. We have engaged the services of Kyle DeVolder, Master Carpenter, of Valley Wainscoting to install our wainscoting in the hallway. He will also be trimming the doors to each unit giving the hallway a clean rich look and feel it has long needed. All the woodwork will be faux finished by Paloma Glass of Olde World Artisans. Paloma brings a wealth of experience and talent to the project and we look to her imagination and skills as an artist and interior designer in bringing color and breathing life into Sophie’s hallways.
