How to use the Residents Page
If you’re a new resident to Sophie’s Arms reading this, then welcome to the building! This post will walk you through the resident-specific features of this website. If you’re a prospective resident, hopefully you’ll get the sense of how well we treat our tenants!
Submitting non-urgent maintenance requests
Non-urgent fix requests can be submitted through the form on the right of the Residents page. You can use this form for running toilets, broken fixtures, cosmetics fixes, or anything else that might not cause additional harm to yourself or the building. For more urgent requests, please call management at 619-246-8307. For real emergencies like fires or break-ins, go right to the source and call 911.
Requests received via email will be answered in the order they are received. We try to get to these on the same day they are received but it may go up to 24 hours.
Receiving news and updates
We want to make sure everyone is up-to-date on what is going on at Sophie’s Arms – new units, new residents, renovation – so we created the news feed you’re reading now. News and information for residents aggregates on the Residents page, probably the page you came from to get here. If there’s something really important like a water or electricity shut-off, we’ll notify you with the legally-required note on your door but for everything else, we’ll use this handy news feed.
You can receive these updates three different ways:

- You can also receive these updates via email by signing up.

We try to keep the most current documents linked from the Residents page. If there’s a document that you’ve received that you’d like a copy of, please let us know and we’ll add it to this page (as well as sending you a copy).
